Job Description: 

Join our winning team……….Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Program Manager to lead our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's team to support one of our IRS technology processing customer portfolio of business.
The Program Manager will lead our team of 15-20 qualified, diverse individuals supporting IRS IT operations thorough a contract with follow-on program opportunities. This position will be located in the Washington, DC area. The program manager provides program-level oversight of contract performance and resolves program support deficiencies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Administer, develop, and grow program staff
• Administer supporting subcontracts
• Develop and monitor profitability, productivity, and growth against targets
• Develops and recommends corrective actions
• Maintains and develops working relationships with customer sponsors.
• Plan and coordinate business reviews, resource allocations, financial analyses, employee communications and development plans
• May prepare acquisition proposals, recommend financial and nonfinancial strategic objectives and alternatives, and implement and maintain strategic and operational plans


Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree, minimum of 10 years of management experience; or 14 yrs experience without a BA or BS degree.
• Prior or current experience with the Internal Revenue Systems (IRS) and supporting IT systems
• Experience running a major program or multiple programs
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate employees
• Ability to grow programs and interface with customers
• Ability to clear an IRS minimum background investigation (MBI)

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• Experience running civilian agency programs
• Experience managing FFP, T&M and CPFF contracts
• Experience in IRS tax processing hardware and software operations and maintenance
