This position reports directly to the General Sales Manager, Local Premise Sales. The DSM will be directly responsible for managing a team of 8-10 Media Consultants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Responsibilities include meeting revenue objectives, managing and developing Media Consultants and managing sales process, reporting and recruitment of sales talent. 2. Responsible for observing sales calls, coaching employees to optimize results and intervening to resolve performance problems. 3. Responsible for providing guidance and support to develop Media Consultant skill sets by coaching, demonstrations, training, preparation and planning reviews, post contact analysis, etc. 4. Administers performance reviews and takes corrective action as necessary. 5. Responsible for providing feedback to the marketing group concerning communication needs, product development and pricing. 6. Other management duties assigned as needed by GSM. Qualifications:
