Position Description: THIS IS A PART TIME TEMPORARY ON CALL POSITION WITH NO BENEFITS ASSOCIATED WITH IT. Work location is can be remote and/or in Columbia, Maryland
Full use and application of human resources concepts, practices and procedures. Works independently, work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment. Performs work that is varied where some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required. Resolves routine problems without assistance; requires assistance with non-routine problems. Participates as a team member; may lead a small project, or act as primary intra-organization liaison. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training, or related discipline and 3 years of professional HR experience in a specific discipline, or MS or MBA with a concentration in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training, or related discipline and 1 year of professional HR experience.
Additional Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen Prior Honeywell experience in Human Resources is highly desired Familiar with PeopleSoft Data Management tool Familiar with Compensation Survey Data General working knowledge of related HR disciplines. Familiarity with government regulations in primary area of specialization. Strong analytical skills/problem-solving skills. PC Application software skills, specifically spreadsheet and word processing skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel. Strong customer service orientation (i.e. listening, follow-through, willingness to help). Flexible - ability to adapt to changing policies, procedures, priorities and/or work environments. Ability to work in a team environment. Familiar with Six Sigma Greenbelt level tools & methodologies.
