Working as a Senior Technical Architect (STA), you will be responsible for developing IT solutions to business problems. To be successful, you must be proficient at the techniques that go into the formulation of the architectures, including:

You will use your practical skills and experience across many application and infrastructure (operational) products, technologies, and services. Additional Responsibilities:
Education: Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math or equivalent experience. Experience: Typically requires 5-10 years experience. Supervisory: No.
Required Qualifications: · Expert in data network/IP load balancing · Deep F5 product suite experience especially with 1600 and 6900 series. · Background in network planning, implementation, and operations · Network design background · Expertise in either UNIX or Linux operating systems · Windows: NT, 2000, and 2003. Should be proficient in configuration and troubleshooting of servers, Active Directory, domain design, and CIFS/SMB/DFS · Solid working knowledge of high-availability architectures, VLANs, Routing (L2/3), and TCP/IP · Unix: Solaris and Linux (BSD, Irix, AIX, and HP/UX a plus) · Network: Experience troubleshooting customer-to-server issues · Minimum of five years experience supporting technical environment. · Ability to articulate and transfer complex ideas to a wide audience through both verbal and written communication. · Working knowledge of, and proficiency in, F5 ATM and security technologies. · Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking services such as DNS, UNIX, switches, routers and firewalls in Internet environments. · Experience with application level switching and web technologies. · F5 ATM and Security certifications will be required within six months of hire. · IPSec and/or SSL VPN technologies. · GateD, ZebOS, NameD, BIND, SSH daemons and clients, tcpdump, snoop, ethereal and other packet sniffing software or products. · IIS, Apache, WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle or similar web and application platforms. · F5 iRule development. · Scripting and development in Unix shell, Perl, Java, C, .Net or similar environments. · Expert technical knowledge of TCP/IP and UNIX, particularly BSD variants. · Demonstrated experience and expert-level knowledge with network devices (routers, switches, etc.), including such topics as HTTP headers, ISO layers, and TCP flags. · Intermediate-level knowledge of SSL (particularly server-based) and DNS admin experience. · Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate and educate customers about complex technology in a simple way.
