Production Manager Job Details

Growing manufacturing company located in the Kingsbury, NY of 25 employees is looking for a dynamic person to coordinate all the companies’ activities.

Answering directly to the CEO, you will be responsible of the planning, the organization, the control and the supervision of all the operations of its facility with the help of supervisors. You will specifically coordinate supply, production, preventive maintenance, repairs and ensure continuous improvement. You will also be responsible to establish and maintain efficient channels of communication, to analyse solutions to resolve problems and maintain a safe work environment, clean and organized. The supervision and improvement of working methods as well as the optimal management of automated equipment to maximize productivity will also be your responsibility. Finally, you will control the business expenses related to the production.

You are results oriented, autonomous, proactive, methodical and rigorous. You are known to have a strong leadership capable of motivating personnel to exceed goals. You have a good stress tolerance and show initiative to achieve the objectives of efficiency, quality and safety related to financial key business indicators.

Manufacturing related formation and a minimum of five years experience in a similar position for a company of less than 100 employees. Proven track record of exceeding performance expectations.

You have a good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electricity and computer system. You have excellent management skills. This position requires a regular floor presence.
