Heavy Duty Filter Product Engineering Manager FRAM Group, formerly known as Honeywell CPG, a New Zealand-based private investment company that invests across a variety of industries and aims to build and grow leading global businesses, including Reynolds Group Holdings, one of the largest packaging companies in the world. The Heavy Duty Filter Product Engineering Manager will be responsible for heavy duty product and packaging engineering located in Perrysburg, Ohio. Responsibilities include: · Lead a team that designs and develops aftermarket and OE heavy duty liquid and air filters. · Ensure continuous improvement and development of the staff through day-to-day management activities, performance assessments, succession planning, compensation planning, training, and staffing. · Responsible for resource allocation and demand/capacity analyses as driven by the project portfolio and business priorities. · Maintain close linkage to internal customers such as marketing, sales, operations, and supply base such that business initiatives for new product, cost reduction, and manufacturing efforts are met. · Contribute to filtration technical strategy and provide input into long term strategic plan. · Develop annual operating budget for heavy duty product engineering team and maintain expense budget items. · Support and drive speed to market initiatives to reduce product development cycle time. · Reports to Sr. Filter Product Engineering Director Basic Qualifications: · Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline required · Minimum of seven years of experience in engineering field with supervisory experience · 4 years Automotive industry experience required Additional Qualifications: . · Heavy Duty product experience highly preferred. · Mechanical Engineering preferred · Leadership experience in a product development environment strongly preferred. · Previous experience with budgeting preferred · Proven interpersonal skills, ability to motivate teams to produce on-target and timely results, and strong bias for action · Project management experience preferred · Working knowledge of ISO9001 or TS16949 and APQP processes · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Design for Six Sigma certification preferred As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Honeywell is committed to a diverse workforce.
