Honeywell currently has an internship opportunity for the Human Resources Department in Smithfield, RI. No Housing or Transportation assistance will be provided - Local Candidates Only. Candidates must be legally authorized to work, in the U.S., without sponsorship.

This position will work on projects to assist HRGs in three Rhode Island locations.



  • Establish consistent on-boarding program for three Locations.

  • Create a "Leader's Guide to HR" to assist educating our managers on the role of a HRG

  • Develop a diversity staffing network.

  • Research low or no cost ESL classes & computer literacy classes

  • Assist with HR metrics

Basic Qualifications:


  • Currently pursuing Bachelors Degree in Human Resources.

  • Completed sophomore year of college.

  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft office suite package.

  • Able to participate in an internship, prior to completing current degree program.


Additional Qualifications:


  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task.
