| Job Description: | Directs the overall sales organization in assigned area. Responsible for managing the sales achievement of the organization's objective for products or services in a defined geographic region, or responsible for a defined industry or product line on a geographic basis. Also has responsibility for Telemarketing, Premise and Speciality sales. Has primary responsibility for supervision and development of Sales Managers. Achieves unit, revenue and expense objectives within assigned area. Responsible for meeting assigned financial and sales volume objectives. Broad knowledge of business, industry, and company necessary to solve unique and highly complex problems. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factors. Responsible for the effective operation of activities of major significance to the organization. Ensures that budgets, schedules, and performance standards are realistically set and attained. Decides, sets and implements short-term plans. Directs strategic plan to outcome. Develops overall ideas and approach to accomplish plan. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience preferred. Typically reports to General Management or Sr. Manager. |
