As a Machinist, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• High School Diploma
• At least three years’ experience in machining, or a related field
• Ability to use shop arithmetic, charts and tables
• Knowledge of blueprints, machining methods, and cutting qualities of metals

As a Machinist, your main responsibilities will involve:

• Operating a variety of machines, including grinders and lathes
• Setting up fixture components for jobs that require machining
• Maintaining tooling equipment
• Performing special project assignments as required
