Job Description: 

IS / ISD - Ground Systems Business Unit is seeking an experienced Subcontract Professional to support Major Programs and new business opportunities. Candidate will develop terms and conditions for subcontract RFPs to assure compatibility with existing contract requirements, NGC policy and government procurement regulations. Candidate will also administer subcontracting actions and oversee their performance including control of changes, monitoring performance, risk identification and mitigation plan development. Excellent communication and strong relationship management skills are a must. Candidate will be responsible for the full range of lifecycle subcontract administration and management from RFP preparation, proposal analysis, negotiation, subcontract award, subcontract performance and closeout. The individual must be highly organized, flexible, and must be able to effectively interact with all levels of staff and management, both internal and external.


Qualifications:

Must be a US Citizen and posses current SSBI clearance

Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field

10 or more years with business related work experieince and 8 of those must be relevant industry experience managing a broad range of contracts and subcontracts including complex Cost Type instruments

Major subcontracts/contracts experience

Excellent oral, written and computer skills

Experience with DoD/Government contracting policies, procedures, and regulations

Experience in negotiation, proposal development and subcontract administration

Cost plus (FF, AF & IF), FFP, T&M subcontracts experience

Must be well-versed in issues related to procurement, with detailed understanding of business practices, analytical methods, and accounting and finance principles. Position in Aurora or Colorado Springs, CO
