The Aerospace headquarters is based in Phoenix, Arizona. The Engineering Operations organization currently has an opening for an Entry Level Configuration Management Analyst. The selected Candidate will be responsible for Software Configuration Management (SCM). The purpose of this job is to administer software configuration management principles in support of the software development process. The position will entail teaming with other configuration managers and product engineers to manage the release and changes of software items associated with the product development process. The individual in this role will use state of the art tools to identify and version software, manage and track software changes, perform software build verifications, and generate reports to support program milestones. Software configuration management responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Creating/maintaining program software baselines; Supporting the software CM activities including generation, verification, and shipment of media (CDs and DVDs); Providing support to the Configuration Control Board (CCB); Using the Automated Configuration Management (ACM), ClearCase/ClearQuest and Dimensions toolsets; Basic understanding of the PDM tool; Supporting development and production builds/rebuilds using SCM standard toolsets; Identifies, processes, records, maintains, retrieves and compiles SCM data to support the software development and approval process; Good oral and written communication skills; Accountable for meeting schedule completion dates; Interact with team members to solve day-to-day issues; Ability to learn and adopt Honeywell processes and practices. This position will be based, in Clearwater, Florida. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor degree in a business or engineering related discipline - Must be a US Citizen due to International Trade and Arms Regulation (ITAR) restrictions Additional Qualifications: - Office based computer skills - Proactive team player who is willing to learn new skills and take on varied assignments - 1 - 2 years of software configuration management or data management experience - Ability to learn new software packages quickly - Strong analytical skills - Strong interpersonal skills and team dynamics experience - Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize work effectively Interested in Honeywell but this isn't the right job for you?
