Machinist at a entry level responsible for fabrication of a wide range tooling to support manufacturing operations including the rework, repair and inspection of tools from Engineering and Tool Design drawings, verbal or written instructions. Analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate CNC mills, and conventional tool room machinery to achieve exact blue print tolerance results, fabricate and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. Will perform task assignment of HTSI contracted design and fabrication services ensuring compliances to all contractual terms and Honeywell design standards. Will work closely with manufacturing and design engineers to coordinate the fabrication of tooling with the engineering part and customer requirements. Will work with vendors to ensure quality and on time delivery of all rework and new fabrication of tooling. Performs all other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: 8 years of related experience.
Tooling and fabrication requirements of all manufacturing and inspection departments at Torrance and HAdM sites. |
