The Account Manager - Business Integrated Solutions will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and managing existing account growth for AT&T's Business Integrated Solutions Group. The Account Manager will uncover new business opportunities by presenting business solutions via our products and services. He/she will engage in prospecting techniques including cold calling, scheduling appointments and meeting with key decision makers at customer locations. Individual may have some face to face interaction with small business clients at an AT&T retail location so partnering with our Retail Organization to build relationships with employees as well as with business clients within stores is key. · Consistently meet/exceed voice/data revenue and quota targets and goals. · Proactively seeks opportunities to utilize solution selling and account management techniques to maximize the business relationship and opportunity with prospects and customers within a defined Module/ Account list. · Responsible for new business, account penetration and development, and retention within a geographic territory · Support the retail environment with training and servicing the business clients that walk into our retail stores. · Effectively plan and manage assigned accounts to maximize potential and to ensure customer satisfaction and retention · Identify data needs through thorough understanding of customer business operations and effectively develop comprehensive data/voice solutions to meet customer needs. · Gain new customers through incorporating all applicable sales stimulation strategies, programs, and other targeting contacts, e.g. cold calling and prospecting. · Submit daily/weekly call reports for prospects and existing account coverage including sales forecast to Sales Manager · Proactively drive business to most cost effective fulfillment channel and maximize most cost-effective channel options for sales fulfillment. · Prepare and present professional corporate business proposals and presentations to corporate business executives. · Maintain frequent and personal contact with existing small business customers to build strong relationships. · Responsible for continuing self education in order to maintain a broad knowledge of wireline and wireless solutions, rate plans, complex products and services, and selling skills. · Maintain a professional image and work environment. · Handle and resolve escalated customer issues. · Attend all required sales meetings and training sessions. · Perform other duties as assigned. · Business Degree (Marketing major preferred) and/or equivalent work experience. · 2 years successful sales experience preferably in the wireline, wireless, data and/or telecommunications industry with a proven record of accomplishment in meeting quota and solution selling/account management. · Experience selling complex solutions - wireless and/or wireline data products and services a plus in a cold calling environment · Strong negotiation skills, confident and aggressively seeks new business. · Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills · Decision making, problem solving, and negotiation skills. · Experience in handling customer inquiries and ability to handle difficult customers professionally · Ability to use Microsoft suite as well as other computer software packages as required. · Valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance and reliable vehicle per transportation needs of market.
