Job Description:  Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Washington, DC.. Where Technology and Teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's LCS MPI Program multiyear contract in support of PMS 420 LCS Mission Package program execution. Roles and Responsibilities:
As a member of the System Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team the candidate will lead and/or assist in the following areas: · System and functional requirement decomposition, analysis, allocation and management · DOORS configuration management and DOORS administration including development of filters and scripts to support requirements based metrics, traceability reports and requirement allocations · Development of DODAF compliant Mission Module architecture views · Close liaison with the customer to identify gaps in current requirements and functional architectures for MCM, ASW and SUW Mission Packages for potential future enhancement opportunities · Develop White Papers in support of requirements management, future technology upgrades / insertion · Coordinate NGC LCS MPI team review comments and responses for PMS 420 technical scope review (TSR) meetings as required · Review Government provided documentation for technical accuracy · Participate in Risk Review board and Configuration Control Board meetings · Assist in future program opportunity planning
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:


· 9 Years with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field, 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD. · Ability to Multi-task and change direction quickly based on customer changing needs · Exceptional customer relations skills · Ability to coordinate and conduct meetings with the customer · Experience using DOORS including DOORS administration and configuration management Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters in technical field and/or MBA
• Domain expertise in one of the following warfare areas: MCM, SUW or ASW
