The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's CYBER &SIGINT Systems Business Unit which supports the Intelligence and Department of Defense customers in the areas of signal collection and processing, special purpose systems, full spectrum information operation systems and services. Roles and Responsibilities: Successful candidates will be able to apply: 1) engineering concepts and methodologies to technical functions including research, development, analysis, design, production, or sustainment within one or more engineering disciplines, 2) utilizes engineering and/or scientific skills to identify, solve, or alleviate technical problems. Maintenance of fielded SIGINT system in Savanna, GA. The initial 4-6 weeks of work will be located in Sacramento, CA for training purposes. This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: · Must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this position · Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or a related field with 7 years experience. Years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. · Experience with Hardware/Software engineering field maintenance effort - - diagnostics/troubleshooting, field repair, user support, and training. · System Administration skill set highly desirable. · Experience with current and emerging network equipment (routers, switches, hubs) and technologies a plus. · Quick learner - - minimal training available prior to deployment. · Candidate must be proactive and a proven team player - - able to effectively work issues across govt organizations, 3rd party vendors, and competitors. · Strong communication and writing skills. Preferred Qualifications: · Military experience a plus. · Must be familiar with various test equipment--Network analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, O-scope, etc. · Candidate should be familiar with maintenance of airborne SIGINT sensor systems. · Candidate should be familiar with RF engineering methodology. · Experience as a trainer and HW/SW tester a plus. · Guardrail or other airborne SIGINT sensor system experience a plus. · Applicable State Department allowances apply during OCONUS deployments.
