A new world of opportunity exists at Northrop Grumman. Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Peoplesoft Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Washington, DC. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Process Solutions Group, is looking for a qualified PeopleSoft technical consultant. This candidate will directly interface with our client to deliver PeopleSoft modifications for their delivered product. This candidate must have great people skills.
Overall development activities will include but are not limited to requirements analysis and definition, functional design and development, technical design and development, and product development activities in support of application enhancements and system problems (e.g. writing PeopleCode, building or altering PeopleSoft objects, creating component interfaces, modification of application engines, use of Integration Broker technology, writing DMS or SQL statements, SQRs, COBOL, XML, iScript etc.), unit testing, and preparing detailed technical design documentation, conducting technical design meetings and delivering client presentations.
Candidates will be responsible for devising innovative solutions and new business process methodologies, analyzing system issues, development and modification of complex enterprise wide applications which may also include development of web-based applications.
Roles and Responsibilities: · Analyze system requirements and functionality · Develop technical design documentation · Lead walkthroughs · Conduct peer reviews · Code and unit test solutions using all tools and coding languages related to the PeopleSoft product
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: · Bachelors Degree with 1 4 years of relevant experience · 5 years in PeopleSoft experience as it relates to development · Experience in PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 · Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation · Must be a U.S. Citizen
