At AT&T, our Chief Technology Office (CTO) is the embodiment of innovation. We're responsible for developing, designing, planning and building AT&T's wireless and wired networks - including the nation's fastest 3G wireless network, our groundbreaking U-verse network and one of the world's largest and most advanced IP backbone. Responsibilities New sites justification and design using propagation tool, support tools, drive test data, network kpis, identify new sites locations, issue search rings, approve site candidates, create RFDS to define the site plumbing diagram/antenna installation, complete datafills. Support network coverage/quality optimization using prediction tools (Atoll) or optimization tools (ACP) to maximize metrics with optimal capital allocation. Support capacity planning (update RFDS installation diagrams for GSM, UMTS, LTE for increased site capacity while maintaining coverage and quality). Create RF designs for technology roll-out (UMTS, LTE) in new areas, use design tools to achieve design quality metrics. Complete FCC fillings (32dBu contours, license fillings documents, population coverage studies) and RF exposure compliance documents (MPE). Nature of Contribution Seasoned technical professional who contributes through proven technical expertise. Has significant impact on department or function. Knowledge Subject matter expert within own discipline/specialty area and basic knowledge of other disciplines / specialty areas. Deep technical knowledge. Additional Responsibilities This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T's compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions Required Qualifications
Desired:
