Job Description: 

Working as a Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, testing, debugging and modifying software enhancements and/or new applications used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. You may be required to use code in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS or desktop applications products. In this position you will also be responsible for completing documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. To be successful, you must demonstrate strong technical knowledge, excellent problem solving and communication skills as you may interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.



Additional Responsibilities:


  • Strong leadership skills are also required as you may lead teams across a number of complex systems to accomplish undefined tasks on a planned and ADHOC basis as well as lead cross functional teams through design and development on an assigned task crossing multiple applications

  • Lead design and code reviews to notify and correct any issues where possible across organizations prior to implementation

  • Maintain a baseline of IT industry knowledge to champion new technologies and processes that strengthen the people, process and products

Required Qualifications:


  • Three to five years experience in developing software applications including: analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field

  • Excellent technical analysis/design skills

  • Track record of delivering projects on time

  • Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams

  • Formal training or hands on experience in the following technical skills may be required:


    • C

    • C

    • C#

    • ColdFusion

    • HTML

    • JAVA

    • JavaScript

    • J2EE

    • .net technology

    • Object oriented development

    • Oracle

    • SQL

    • Teradata

    • UNIX




Desired Qualifications:


  • Understanding of project management process

  • Takes initiative, quick learner and self directed, with a desire to seek answers from team members and other groups

  • Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams

  • Understanding of project management process
