Honeywell Scanning & Mobility (HSM) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). HSM is a leading manufacturer of high-performance image- and laser-based data collection hardware, including rugged mobile computers and bar code scanners. With one of the broadest product portfolios in the AIDC industry, Honeywell Scanning & Mobility provides solutions that help improve operations and enhance customer service for users in vertical markets including retail, healthcare, and transportation and logistics. Its innovative products are complemented with advanced software, service and professional solutions that enable customers to effectively manage data and assets. HSM products are sold worldwide through a network of distributor and reseller partners. No Housing or Transportation assistance will be provided - Local Candidates Only. Candidates must be legally authorized to work, in the U.S., without sponsorship.



Intern will be assigned three projects:


  • Primary project likely representing customer market research to drive segmentation and new market opportunity assessment.

  • Writing and publishing a technology White Paper.

  • A third project that is selected closer to the start date based on current market dynamics.



    In addition the intern will be assigned to shadow a product manager to better understand "a day in the life" of product management.

Basic Qualifications:


  • An undergraduate degree in an analytical (e.g. economics, math, engineering, etc…) or technical discipline.

  • Currently pursuing an MBA or Master's degree from a top-tier school.

  • Able to participate in an internship, prior to completing current degree program.

  • 3 years of professional experience marketing or technical experience.


Additional Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated success leading high-impact projects in marketing, strategic planning and product management, finance or engineering.

  • Proven strategic, analytical and implementation skills.
