Summary of Position : Position is responsible for providing timely and unbiased analysis and insights to inform critical business decisions in support of various functions and operations. This role drives forecasting, efficient report production and distribution enabling timely analysis and communication of trends, risks and opportunities. It also interacts with key teams in systems and process improvements. Principal Accountabilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis · Assist in preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the corporate office. · Review monthly financial results and analysis of Bussmann’s European operations. · Provide assistance to the Canadian operations in the resolution of intercompany, general accounting and tax issues/problems · Perform continuous improvement and cost reduction projects as assigned. · Participate in driving solutions to key analytical, strategic and business challenges utilizing knowledge and expertise. · Work cross functionally with operations finance and other support functions. · Provide back-up in critical department functions and systems. · Analyze business propositions and capital projects and follow-up on the financial aspect of ongoing projects. · Preparation of Financial Statements Cooper Bussmann enjoys a solid reputation in our industry and offers a competetive salary and comprehensive benefits.
