We are looking for process engineers at different levels, skill-sets, and experience to build our global team.

From our Grand Rapids, MI manufacturing facility as Process Engineer, you will play a key role in managing food engineering processes and programs at the plant. You will excite and engage your key stakeholders in Supply Chain, Safety, and Research and Quality through proactive communication and alignment building in order to improve our productivity and capacity of our products. By working with our friendly teams who are passionate about the Kellogg's ® brand, you'll be responsible for the technical specifications and performance of an assigned portfolio of projects. This role has a major impact on the Corporation through knowledge and application of food process engineering and through development as a technical expert in one or more related areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as Process Engineer you will help the Kellogg business to continue to create great products, grow our business and build on our success by:
• Providing food processing technical expertise and leadership across business unit(s).
• Providing effective development; scale up and specifications of food processes, capital scope, and schedules.
• Partnering and gaining stakeholder support and approval for project scope.
• Continuously gaining knowledge of the Kellogg Manufacturing network and leverage that expertise to bring new innovative, cost-effective ideas to the broader organization.
• Exhibit innovation in discovery, advancement, and evaluation of new technologies which can have a significant impact on new and improved process designs and process systems.
• Travel - 20-40%


Position Requirements SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline.
• Food industry experience
• Minimum 4 years experience for Associate Engineer (higher level Engineer and Senior Engineer opportunities are also available)
• Skills and desires to be a current and future leader.
• Ability to work as part of a team, with the capability to manage, communicate to, and influence key stakeholders.
