Rio Tinto Minerals (RTM), part of the Rio Tinto group, has an immediate opening for a Mine Operations Superintendent based in Boron, California. The position is located on-site at our Boron Operations in the Mine Operations Support Department. Rio Tinto Minerals operates globally providing talc and borates to world markets. RTM is also a global leader in safety performance. The Mine Operations Superintendent provides leadership, direction and performance in Mine Operations, supporting the Sustainable Safety Culture and practicing Organizational Effectiveness concepts. Reporting to the Mining Director and the Mine Operations Superintendent shares responsibility for managing an operating budget of $40M annually.
