Supporting production for our Snacks division, the Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in identifying and delivering programs & processes essential to our plant operations. Utilizing flexible leadership and communication skills, the Operations Supervisor oversees the daily activity and development of our operators, while identifying opportunities to more efficiently produce great food at a low cost. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as an Operations Supervisor you will help the Kellogg's business to continue to create great products, grow our business and build on our success by: • Providing direction and guidance to operators and their activities for assigned area/shift • Using problems solving skills and root cause analysis to resolve and/or mitigate operational issues • Identifying opportunities to eliminate cost and/or waste through applying lean manufacturing principals. • Identifying, developing and implementing best practices in safety and quality • Helping the plant leadership team develop a culture of inclusion that efficiently produces great product and innovation Position Requirements SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE At Kellogg Company we place a huge emphasis on recruiting the best people to help grow our business and build on our success. To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following: • BA/BS with 5+ years of related proven leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting. • Experience participating in lean manufacturing events and managing lean project initiatives. • Demonstrated knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs & processes. • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This role requires the ability to work on multiple shifts (including weekends) with 10+ hour days. Candidates with past experience in the Food & Beverage industry, supervision of Union workers, and SAP knowledge are preferred. License Requirements |
