Rio Tinto Minerals (RTM), part of the Rio Tinto group, has an immediate opening for a Production Supervisor based in Boron, California. The Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction for the production teams and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork at Boron Operations. The Production Supervisor must work closely with mining, maintenance, shipping and quality control departments in order to operate the plant effectively, minimize downtime and produce quality product. The primary responsibility of the Production Supervisor is to ensure the safe, effective, and economical production of borates. Production Supervisors cover all shifts in a calendar year.
