The Company With revenues of $40 billion, Kraft Foods Inc. is the second largest food company. For more than 100 years, we've offered consumers delicious and wholesome foods that fit the way they live. Our facility is a Nabisco bakery and produces quality products such as Oreos, Chips Ahoy!, Ritz Crackers, Premium Saltines, Wheat Thins, Nilla Wafers and Cheese Nips. We operate nine ovens and three shifts. There are over 500 employees in this union facility and the Plant is approximately a million square feet under roof. The Position Key accountabilities include: · Work with CI Manager to define & scope improvement opportunities. · Leads & executes breakthrough and continuous improvement projects. · Develops & applies necessary technical skills to deliver improvement results. · Coaches, trains (Green Belts) & develops team members & other plant personnel. · Engages line/process/department personnel in all phases of improvement work. · Develops strong technical network with plant resources. · Maintains appropriate documentation including project charter, progress updates & final reports. · Captures and communicates learning to enable best practice replication. Qualifications include: · BS/MS degree in relevant technical topic · Black Belt certified & Lean proficient · Minimum 3 yrs improvement or relevant experience · Team leadership skills, demonstrated leadership skills (team leadership, communication skills, interpersonal savvy) · Training & mentoring skills to develop Green Belts · Ability to challenge the status quo & work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel · Strong computer skills
