Job Description Responsibilities: A Pharmacy System Engineer (Rx SE) position is available within the Malvern office for a Senior Consultant working as a consulting team member or as an individual consultant on Rx application installations for healthcare facilities which include: Responsibilities include: • Performing professional service requests, Installation, migration or Upgrade for Siemens Pharmacy systems • Ability to estimate time frames to complete projects on time, with quality and within budgeted hours • Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities • Performs re-forecasts of project variables as necessary throughout project • Conduct and provide periodic status checks and status reports with customers and the project team to verify requirements and ensure on time delivery • Perform necessary project maintenance if assigned as in a project manager role, monitor and maintain budgeted hours for engagement • Able to perform role independently with minimal supervision • Execute, contribute and promote quality deliverables for Implementation and Value Add Services, which include identifying improvement opportunities to streamline deliverables so they are repeatable, cost effective and profitable • Familiarity with Siemens Process House and/or any other Siemens Methodologies (i.e. Primavera, Siemens Agile Implementation Methodology (SAIM) and Performance Management Process) is a plus • Maintain a level of utilization that aligns with department goals, ensuring hours worked do not exceed budgeted hours for assigned engagements • Ability to execute after market professional services and Disaster Recovery plans. • Prepare monthly/weekly status reports on all related project activities Skills & Requirements: • Must have excellent written / verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with various levels of management within Siemens & customer facilities • Must have working knowledge of Linux on an Integrity server and VMS on an Integrity and Alpha Server • Resource must be proficient in MUMPS, DCL, network setup, executing and interpretation of system performance tools and reports, have a working knowledge of VMS internals, Red Hat Linux and Cache processing • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills • Solid presentation and facilitation skills • Previous installation, delivery, implementation or support experience dealing with US customers is a plus • Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint Ability to Travel up to 25% |
