ITW Formex is a global manufacturer of innovative electrical insulating materials for electronics manufacturing and high voltage electrical applications. The company has 25 years of experience in providing Formex™ polypropylene electrical insulating materials and Statex™ static dissipating material for use in a wide variety of applications ranging from automotive batteries to industrial equipment and consumer electronics applications. No other flame retardant electrical insulation can equal the performance and versatility of Formex™ for cost-effective fabricated parts. Many engineers have cut significant cost from their designs by replacing a variety of injected molded parts, electrical papers, and thermoplastic materials. ITW Formex is seeking an innovative leader to manage our national sales team. The selected individual will be responsible for the following: 1. Identify potential target accounts, applications and markets in North America and Europe. 2. Promote company products into target accounts effectively and grow business successfully. 3. Manage regional sales force providing direction, motivation, and supervision to penetrate target accounts. 4. Develop and manage national sales channels as well as personally manage sales territory on the west coast. 5. Conduct required market survey, develop necessary sales / marketing plans, policy and strategies to support organic sales growth and potential acquisitions. 6. Coordinate with Asia management team to generate and maintain global pricing policy. 7. Establish and maintain good relationships with direct accounts, distributors and OEM/CMs through effective / positive communication . 8. Monitor major competitors and provide necessary proposals to protect business and increase penetration.9. Coordinate with Asia sales force to successfully transfer projects and identify, develop and commercialize new opportunities. Candidates must meet the following qualifications:1. Engineering or business degree. 2. At least 10 years of sales / marketing experience in the area of electronic components and 5 years in management position. Previous sales experience with engineered plastic materials is preferred. 3. Experience selling internationally, particularly in Asian markets. 4. Self-starter able to aggressively develop new business opportunities and growth with little guidance or direct supervision. 5. Able to create sales and marketing strategies, give directions, motivate sales force, and handle conflicts. 6. Capable of handing multiple tasks. 7. Frequent business travel domestically and internationally. Total travel up to 75%. 8. Good working attitude, t eam oriented , creative, proactive and diligent. 9. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese preferred, but not required. ITW Formex offers a progressive work environment with competitive starting salary, bonus, and benefits package.
