Financial Data Management And Systems Analyst Job Details

• Primary function of this position is to implement and administer financial systems and processes in a manner that supports the information requirements of corporate and divisional management while assuring compliance with internal reporting and data management standards and applicable internal controls.  

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Assist with the design, development, implementation and upgrades and maintenance of financial accounting and reporting applications/software.  This would include data gathering and reporting processes. 
• Administer financial systems security and develop and document security maintenance processes.
• Provide user support; develop and deliver financial systems user training.
• Develop/maintain standard operating procedures for system administration, data management and report generation / distribution processes in all financial reporting environments.
• Support critical month end closing and consolidation activities that are enabled by the Oracle / Hyperion systems; Administer consolidation of worldwide financial data in Hyperion assuring data from all locations is successfully loaded and is in compliance with established standards for completeness and accuracy and that the translation/consolidation process executed correctly.
• Ensure that internal controls are adequate to protect the integrity and safety of company data and that the chart of accounts and corporate reporting architecture is applied consistently across all applications.
• Develop and maintain standard financial reports.
• Assure financial reporting architecture appropriately supports/complies with internal and external accounting/reporting policies and standards (i.e., GAAP)

• 4 year undergraduate degree
• This position requires a working knowledge of consolidation accounting requirements as well as foreign operations and exchange accounting
• This position also requires extensive technical knowledge of the software functionality that is currently used for corporate financial reporting, including Hyperion Enterprise/HFM, Essbase, Oracle and Citrix.
• Ability to learn/assess the capabilities of new/complementary software technology is essential.
