Job Description: 

This position will oversee and execute periodic and adhoc internal corporate reporting and analysis in a manner that effectively informs senior management regarding business performance and financial condition.  Provide central point of control over and high level expertise for the internal financial reporting process. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/run/distribute periodic financial reports and analyses
  • Compile and analyze supplemental financial and operating data
  • Prepare quarterly reforecasts and support annual budget process
  • Assist in the management and analysis of corporate dept financial activity/results
  • Prepare monthly bridge of financial operating results 
  • Assist in the preparation of the Company’s external financial statements, filings, and financial press releases
  • Oversee preparation and filing of US Census reports
  • Prepare adhoc analysis and reports as needed
  • Provide reporting expertise/support to other members of the finance dept companywide (in conjunction with financial reporting systems dept personnel)

 

Required Skills
  • Hyperion Financial Management or similar consolidated reporting system experience a plus
  • 5 yrs accounting and/or financial analysis and reporting experience
  • CPA/CMA or advanced degree preferred
Required Experience
  • This position will be responsible for compiling consolidated financial reports and related analyses on a timely (short cycle) basis for immediate use by the corporate executive group as well as other internal management. It will be the source of much of the financial data that is shared with external parties, the Board of Directors and shareholders.  As such, the information provided must be extremely accurate and reliable.
  • Excellent communication skills and organized/structured thinking is critical as is an expert knowledge of the Company’s reporting systems and financial data structures.
  • This person will be expected to function as a “center of excellence” for internal financial reporting and to help shape the direction/development of our internal financial reporting processes, tools and overall capabilities.
