Job Description Territory: Western Texas and New Mexico LOCATION: FLEXIBLE - THIS IS A TRAVELING POSITION AND CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE TERRITORY: Responsibilities: • Supports the unit by achieving or exceeding assigned individual sales goals. • Maintains current knowledge of market conditions and competitors’ activities to develop sales plans that achieve or exceed sales goals. • Implements an account development plan that optimizes revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty directly or through channel partners. • Tracks ongoing business results compared to the plan’s established goals and executes corrective action(s) when needed. • Initiates / builds / maintains long-term relationships with the appropriate account decision makers directly or through channel partners. • Participates in client presentations articulating the value proposition of product / solution / service offerings. • Participates in the handling of customer complaints and equipment problems. Requirements: • Proven sales skills, with the ability to manage a field territory and work independently (prospecting, establishing appointments and following up with accounts.) • Planning, organizing and controlling the daily activities of the territory are a key component of the position. Hearing industry experience, including understanding the anatomy of the human ear and fitting strategies to comprehend how to apply product line to meet individual goals and budget • Willingness to travel 80%. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. • The individual should also have the ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment and be prepared to develop and execute strategies. • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access). • Experience with CRM reporting tools to provide required reports such as Yearly Business plan, Quartley Pipeline reports, Monthly Decline reports, Daily CRM notations and Calendar (DASHBOARD) populated. • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
