The Nestlé Quality Assurance Center of Dublin, OH (NQAC Dublin) provides specialized laboratory services that help ensure Nestlé products are safe, satisfy all applicable regulatory guidelines, and meet the quality expectations of our customers and consumers. NQAC was established in the 1950s to support the Marysville, OH manufacturing plant and has evolved over time to become the present-day, A2LA-accredited Nestlé Quality Assurance Center ' providing a wide array of key analytical and technical support to all of Nestlé's Zone Americas operation. The Customer Service Representative fulfills a key role within the Business Systems Department of NQAC Dublin, helping to provide excellent technical support and service by: *Demonstrating strong internal and external customer service skills; and *Exhibiting a sound understanding of NQAC Dublin analytical/testing capabilities, customer base, and sample submission/processing requirements. JOB DUTIES Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: *Timely and accurate review of sample analysis requests for information; *Initiate corrective actions for quality issues; *Maintain first-line phone contact for customer requests and communication; *Research and resolve customer inquiries; *Use judgment, logic and experience to decide when it is necessary to communicate sample submission and/or other information to customer and/or NQAC staff members; *Maintain functional knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) required to complete job responsibilities within the department; *Support quality, A2LA requirements, and continuous improvement processes within NQAC; *Other related duties as needed. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL A general knowledge of customer service attributes that support high customer satisfaction are required to provide proactive and responsive service to the customer. Some exposure to food processing or Quality Assurance is beneficial to identify concerns and challenges of the customer. General knowledge of laboratory operations and procedures is necessary to provide requested services to the customer. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential to help build positive relationships and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external customers. Individual must be able to maintain professional poise and demeanor. DECISION MAKEING OR RECOMMENDATIONS This position requires decisions to be made regarding customer needs and requirements. Information is sometimes available from Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), departmental guidelines, written company policy, and customer communication. Analysis actions are dictated by the customer's request and modifications are made according to the needs of the customer, drawing input from technical managers and NQAC technical leads.
