Job Description Overall responsibility to lead a global team of R&D managers, architects, software engineers, and scrum masters developing a subset of the Clinical Solutions portfolio. This role will develop plans to implement R&D projects/programs, including budget and resource planning. This role will also define R&D projects and provide technical and managerial leadership for implementation. To be considered for this position, the qualified candidate should have the following experience : • 10+ years of professional experience leading groups developing commercial or enterprise-scale software products • 5+ years of professional experience with multiple levels of management and global teams • MSc in computer science, electrical engineering or related field • Understanding of SOA, design/architecture patterns, Agile, and Scrum • Healthcare domain knowledge is preferred • Understands concepts of the software development lifecycle • Must possess strong organization and communication skills • Significant experience in project management • Must exhibit a sense of and demonstrate responsibility, focus on delivery, and ability to work independently with appropriate technical direction • Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Strong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives • Ability to travel 10% annually, domestically and internationally as needed |
