Plant Manager Job Details

Plant Manager( this position is for our Plant located in Juarez, Mexico)

Qualifications:

1.- BS Degree in Electronics or Electrical

2.-Minimun of 7 years as Plant manager

3.-Minimun of 20 years of experience in the maquiladora industry

4.-Minimun of 3 Years experience as Manufacturing Manager, Materials Manager and Quality Manager

5.-Human Resources administration

6.-Finance background for non- administrators

7.-Bilingual 100 % English / Spanish

8.- Experience in ISO9000 or QS9000,TS,ISO 14001

Desired experience and characteristics:

· Proven success leading organizations in managerial roles. While specific industry experience is open, the individual should have experience working in a world-class environment from an operations perspective.

· Lean/ Six Sigma experience required with an established reputation for achieving results in a “lean” manufacturing environment. Has demonstrated real accomplishments in reducing waste, improving quality and customer service that results in operations making important and sustained contributions to the company’s bottom line.

· High-energy, assertive, and customer driven results orientation.

· Strong execution skills and drive for results.

· Experience in plant turnarounds strongly desired. Established reputation, minimally having worked in a world-class system, optimally having driven change throughout an organization (e.g., such as leading acquisition integration, major turnaround, plant start up, etc). Has prospered in tough and demanding operations settings.

· Solid materials management experience with knowledge of cross border flow of materials and finished goods.

· Proven change-agent skills with the ability to build consensus for change.

· Comfortable and capable dealing with demanding internal and external customers and vendors.

· Strong presence with great interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work comfortably with peers and in a matrix environment.

· Demonstrated ability to quickly assess, develop, motivate and upgrade their team.

· Experience utilizing SAP enterprise business system, including implementation experience, strongly preferred
