Job Description Job Family Responsibilities: Completes pre-and/or post sales technical product advice for the development and implementation of customer solutions. Prepares and presents detailed technical proposals, including product demonstrations and product prototypes. Prepares and presents customer needs plan to company teams to assure complete plan is feasible within cost, time, and environment constraints. Resolves complex technical problems to meet customers needs. May provide and/or implement detailed installation plans and post-sales consulting. Provides follow-up support in disseminating complex technical information on specific applications. Key Responsibilities: Performs full range of standard work for the professional field. Refers complex, unusual problems to others. Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations. Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or other related field. Knowledge and Experience: 5+ years experience applying automation systems in Body or Assembly automotive processes or extensive technical knowledge in Siemens products and systems . Responsible for supporting account management as technical lead on complex automotive programs. Role includes cultivating client relationship and sales opportunities. Experience must involve: Applying products in Automotive Manufacturing environment or discrete marketplace to include PLC controls, Ethernet protocols including Profinet, profisafe or other safety protocols. |
