POSITION OVERVIEW:

Gathers and interprets financial information effectively and forms data into meaningful and concise analyses while considering a broad range of interdependent issues. Identifies areas for change and makes recommendations while managing multiple demands and competing priorities. Continues to develop his/her financial, technical skills while interacting and leading cross-functional teams throughout the organization. Exercises good judgment, stays focused on results and ensures the integrity of financial reporting in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Assists in providing assurance all financial areas of responsibility in the factory are properly controlled and in compliance with Nestlé policy. Supports the Factory Cost Manager and finance team, Factory Manager, Factory Staff and Divisional / Corporate Management as required. Will utilize GLOBE / SAP to its fullest intent for analyzing factory financial state of affairs.

POSITION FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in Period End Close and all associated analyses to include:
Accruals review and the booking of journal entries.
Account reconciliation.
Performing the SAP close and associated reconciliation.
Assist in the Annual Budget process to include:
Gather and analyze cost driver detail to provide assurance that cost assignment to recipe is representative of the actual process.
Work with the finance team to complete the budget within required deadline.
Assist in the compilation of departmental budgets.
Perform the SAP annual budget.
Perform SAP health checks - investigate / resolve problem areas.
Analyze potential inventory discrepancies and write-offs and perform required SAP adjustment transactions.
Analyze, identify and assist in variance resolution to include:
Working with support personnel to identify causes of production variances and assist with identification and implementation of solutions.
Assure the integrity of recipe costing:
Review recipe structure to assure accuracy and compliance with Nestle standard.
Create SAP costing standard for new recipes and populate new articles with required costing & accounting view data.
Perform periodic audits of recipe costs to provide assurance that all recipes are accurate and in compliance with Nestle standard.
Assist in maintaining financial control of the factory to insure that all financial controls and reporting are in compliance with Nestle standard.
Perform routine validations for SOD (Segregation of Duties) cases, completing role requests/role removal requests or compensating controls as needed.
Review and ensure consistent application of Nestle manufacturing costing standards as well as compliance with internal audit guidelines.
Engage in TPM / NCE (Total Performance Management / Nestle Continuous Excellence) functions, including involvement on pillar teams.
Provide assistance with physical inventories and inventory management tasks.
Will complete other ad hoc financial analyses and support as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

BS or BA degree required in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
Preferred 2 years experience manufacturing accounting/cost role applying accounting principles
SAP power user skills a strong plus
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Self-directed, assertive, able to process information and provide effective follow-up on targets and objectives
Must be able to manage a flexible schedule as needed
Experience delivering training materials to various audiences and coaching capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills
Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization
Ability to influence and drive change
Possess problem-solving skills and be able to manage tactical applications while being able
to think strategically.
Demonstrated advanced user skills for Microsoft Excel with fluency in Outlook, Microsoft Office and related business software
Travel as required
