Job Description Telematics Solution Architect Job Requirement • Experienced system architect who could provide thought leadership and technical solution in the area of telematics to leading Automotive / off-road vehicle manufacturers. • The solution areas would include in-vehicle consumer telematics, vehicle to base-station communication, back-end data management, value-added applications for after-sale service and maintenance. • Main tasks will be: actively promoting telematics portfolio during pre-sale; post-sale consultancy for translating customer requirements into technical solutions; coordination with global technical experts for development and delivery of the solution. Educational Qualification • Bachelor / Master Degree in engineering Skill / Experience Must have • 7+ years of experience in the IT industry consulting, architecting and implementing enterprise solutions. • 3+ years of IT consulting/architecting experience in the area of telematics • Prior experience of architecting minimum 2 end-to-end commercial or consumer telematics projects • 3+ years experience of architecting application on Linux / Microsoft Auto / Win CE platforms. • Thorough knowledge of technologies involved in vehicle-to-station communication, telematics data management, analytics and telematics service provisioning. • Customer interaction skills • Strong analytical skills - Ability to quickly absorb customer requirements. • Team skills – ability to guide a team on the technical solution. Preferable • 3+ years of experience in construction / off-road vehicle / Automotive manufacturing industry would be preferable. • Knowledge of automotive after-sale service processes / vehicle maintenance requirements will be a strong plus. • Demonstration of thought leadership with published whitepaper, blogs etc. will be preferred. Location • USA - Mid-west region preferred. Travel • Project based – expected to be minimum 50%. |
